Throughout the year, Blackbird's Executive Chef, Ryan Pfeiffer has invited several chef friends to co-host a series of collaborative, multi-course dinners in our  private dining space. We are very lucky that the friendships and partnerships Ryan has developed throughout his career can provide us even more opportunities to innovate and inspire our team members and our guests.   

friday, february 8: kevin finch

formerly of Atelier Crenn, San Francisco, California

On Friday, February 8th, we will welcome Chef Kevin Finch, formerly of the acclaimed three Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant Atelier Crenn in San Francisco. Finch will be contributing unique ingredients and techniques, such as his own reserve white sturgeon caviar, to an elegant eight-course dinner with wine pairings in Blackbird's private dining room. Highlights will include Monterrey Bay abalone with kuri squash and brown butter, and Duck Xiao Long Bao with shitake and ponzu.

monday, may 20: michael hunter

Executive Chef and Owner, Antler, Toronto, Canada

On Monday, May 20th we will welcome Michael Hunter, Executive Chef and owner of Antler in Toronto to share his food, cooking style, and philosophy for an evening merging Blackbird's modern Midwestern cuisine with ingredients and dishes that reflect the Canadian Terroir.

venison tartare with pickled oyster

sablefish misoyaki with fava leaf and yuzu kosho

rabbit in three servings

cedar granita with smoked strawberry and spruce

crueller donut with chai and chaga mushroom
