Throughout the year, Blackbird's Executive Chef, Ryan Pfeiffer has invited several chef friends to co-host a series of collaborative, multi-course dinners in our  private dining space. We are very lucky that the friendships and partnerships Ryan has developed throughout his career can provide us even more opportunities to innovate and inspire our team members and our guests.

Blackbird’s popular Pfeiffer + Friends series returns with Chef Justin Carlisle of Milwaukee’s acclaimed, Ardent. Rooted in collaboration, the multi-course dinner allows for an intimate experience, with each course guided by Chefs Pfeiffer & Carlisle. Carlisle, a Wisconsin native, will bring a personal touch to the event with his family’s famous Carlisle Wagyu Beef, included as a feature item for the evening.

We’re keeping it in the family as Chef Pfeiffer welcomes 2019 James Beard Outstanding Baker and Publican Quality Bread’s Head Baker, Greg Wade. This special edition of the series will focus on bread + sauce as the key elements of the dinner experience. Join our One Off family members for an evening celebrating the often unsung, but always beloved aspects of a meal.

Top Chef Season 16 Winner and Former Executive Chef, Spiaggia, Chicago, Illinois

Top Chef Winner Joe Flamm joins Blackbird Executive Chef, Ryan Pfeiffer for 2019’s final installment of the Pfeiffer + Friends series. Flamm & Pfeiffer began their respective roles at Blackbird and Spiaggia at the same time, quickly becoming friends and confidants. The local duo will come together to prepare an intimate dining experience for their guests. The theme? A known favorite of Chef Flamm’s: Pasta.
