Thomas Schlesser
Architect and Interior Designer
Architect and Interior Designer Thomas Schlesser is the genius behind the striking spaces known as Blackbird and avec. While both impressively modern and minimal, this is not the only dramatic display of Schlesser’s talent. Nationally celebrated throughout his ten-year career, he has directed high-profile projects like SOHO’s Niedermaier retail showroom and the Odyssey II dinner ship on the Potomac River.
These highly technical efforts have been a challenge to his background in both engineering and design. Schlesser, responding very well to those challenges, has since been heralded in publications such as Metropolitan Home, Progressive Architecture, Architectural Record, International Design, Interior Design, Contact and Domain. Schlesser continues his work in New York City.
